Alternatively, the fire resistance can be determined by the burn-off rate. At a panel thickness of 30 mm, OSB 4 TOP boards have a fire resistance of more than 30 minutes and at the same time achieve a K230 encapsulation according to EN 13501-1 in the event of a fire. This makes the OSB 4 TOP visible cladding even in the case of fire protection requirements. In family houses, the standard layer of fireproof plasterboard is used as the final layer. It is installed directly by contact, without the need for pre-walls.
